Stephane Garneau-Monten is an award winning actor, producer, and writer who splits his time between Canada & New Zealand.

As an actor, Stephane has a diverse range of experience across TV, film, and theatre. He is best known for his role as Kurt in the box office hit M3GAN (Blumhouse/Universal). He won Best Performer at the 2019 V48 Hour Film Competition for his role in the short film Lamp and has performed on stages across the U.S., Canada, and New Zealand. Stephane has worked with numerous Hollywood heavyweights, such as Dennis Quaid, Allison Williams, James Franco, Ronny Chieng, Jack Reynor, and more. Training includes the National Theatre School of Canada and Meisner Technique at the Rogue West Acting Studio. He works frequently with internationally acclaimed acting coach Michael Saccente.

As a writer and producer, Stephane’s short films have garnered success across multiple film festivals. His short, Love is Eternal was a finalist for Best Short Film at the IMDB Independent Shorts Awards and a quarter finalist for Best Short Film at the London Film & Television Festival. His next short, Another Hero is set to hit the festival circuit in July of this year. Stephane has also produced multiple music videos and is in development for his first feature film project, The Cru.

Stephane is an accomplished guitar player who played in Toronto indie rock band Dress Black performing on stages in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa. The band was nominated twice for Best Indie at the Toronto Independent Music Awards.

Stephane’s passions include, cooking, playing guitar, reading, fitness, surfing and spending time with his wife.
